Dan Huggins is our Pastor at the Refuge. He has been a pastor for 38 years. He is married to Julie Huggins and has 6 kids. You might find him cooking, hunting, woodworking, playing the guitar, or yelling Roll Tide in his free time. Or whatever else Julie tells him to do.
Seth Walker is our Associate Pastor here at the Refuge. He is married to Corrie Walker and the Father of Ezekiel. He enjoys most sports, especially the Huskers, Titans, and Lebron. He enjoys staying active, seeing new places, and connecting with new people. And Corrie made him add that they have a dog named Topaz that he loves very much.
Beth is our Secretary and so much more here at the Refuge. Beth is married to John David Kersey. Beth enjoys spending time with family, watching movies, baking, riding on the tractor with John David, and messing with cows. She also loves being outside, working in her garden, spending time with her dog, and being a homemaker and wife.
We have a team of 12 people who are a part of our Leadership Team here at the Refuge. They serve the church in many different ways; including planning upcoming events, set-up/clean-up, teaching, leading Celebrate Recovery, driving the van, and much more. We are thankful to have such a great group of individuals that have stepped up in many different capacities.
Kim and Lisa are a power duo who make and serve a delicious breakfast every Sunday morning. They always have a smile on their face and are constantly looking for ways to serve.
Dan, Mike, and Elora do a great job leading us in worship on Sunday mornings twice a month! You will see Dan playing the guitar, Mike on the Keys, and Elora drumming her heart out as we worship God together!
Our advisory Board consists of John Warner, Theresa Breeden, Jill Emmons, Bentley Beard, Benjamin Beard, and Ron Gray. They meet bimonthly to advise and consent on the direction the Refuge is headed. They are to be liaisons between the Refuge Mission and the community.
